picked up this specialized single speed from a friend. i really wanted to give it some new life and try out some fun colors that spray.bike had to offer. i had the idea of trying to make it look like an old barbie car or something of the like. something out of the box from anything i would necessarily go for. (every bike i have/had has been black or blue). i also picked up one of the "brooklyn" basket handle bars, just to really take it there. after finishing the build my neighbor said it looked like something out of the simpsons, hence the name "barb simpson" perfect time to have a fun colorful bike going into summer!
